Monitoring and Evaluation

ACCESS Phase II is committed to using lessons learned from monitoring and evaluation to continually improve the quality of its outputs.

ACCESS Phase II and its Boundary Partners use a number of tools to undertake monitoring and evaluation and seek learning from each activity.  In addition, several mechanisms have already been introduced and will continue to be developed to give opportunities to Boundary Partners and ACCESS Phase II staff to learn from each other and determine what learning can truly be used.

The monitoring and evaluation approach of ACCESS is integrated with continuous learning and experimentation, where changes are dynamically introduced as lessons are being learned by the Program.  This is equally true of lessons that come from inside the Program, as it is of those that come from ACCESS Phase II Boundary and Strategic Partners and the broader development community.
